so i’m reading the manga atm (haven’t watched the anime) , and i just finished vol 6, i’m pretty sure next volume is where a major character dies, anyways i’ve heard a lot of people saying that the anime kinda goes downhill from there, so i was wondering if the manga also goes downhill? since some people said that the anime changed the ending a bit. just more so i know what to expect 40 votes, 46 comments. 134K subscribers in the deathnote community. Tokyo Revengers is an action manga with strong Yanki elements, which means that the story should contain violence, death, and not necessarily a happy ending. Okay, it doesn’t have to end in tragedy, but it doesn’t really have to have a happy ending. This is why such a go-lucky type of ending feels unnatural. It doesn’t really fit the PCRl.
